Goal 11: Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable.

Half the population of the world currently live in an urban centre and cities therefore present a major opportunity to establish a new model of economy, culture and social development.

Sustainable Development Goal 11 urges us to build new sustainable cities, addressing this challenge in various ways, so that they can become places of participation and development, as well as places of inclusion and development for people and communities.

The predominant contributors to the achievement of SDG (Sustainable Development Goal) 11 are Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo’s Culture Goal and People Goal.
