Goal 12: Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns.
Promoting sustainable consumption and production essentially means getting better results with fewer resources. This implies a more responsible and sustainable use of resources, including both energy and materials, and of the goods produced by, for example, avoiding waste.
This Sustainable Development Goal is achieved by developing a new culture that leads to healthier lifestyles, but also by engaging in research aimed at optimising processes.
The predominant contributors to the achievement of SDG (Sustainable Development Goal) 12 are Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo’s Culture Goal, People Goal and Planet Goal.
