Goal 14: Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development

The health of oceans is closely connected to that of the entire planet and therefore of its inhabitants. Suffice to say that the oceans occupy a third of the earth’s surface and represent 97% of the water on Earth. The temperature of the water, its composition and the biodiversity of marine environments therefore have very important effects and are closely linked to climate change.

This is why it is so important to protect the marine and coastal environment with a series of interventions like reducing pollution and safeguarding flora and fauna.
