Our society and our economy require constant access to and use of energy, which is therefore an essential element of development and growth. Precisely for this reason, it is important to consider energy as an important resource to protect: not only must it be used carefully and responsibly, it must also be produced sustainably.
Improving energy efficiency and increasing energy from renewable sources are therefore two complementary aspects that allow energy to be seen as an opportunity for transformation that can have positive effects on the environment, safety, food production, and the economic well-being of people and communities.
