Evolution of the information systems of the University of Genoa.

Description

The University of Genoa’s 2025–2027 Digital Transformation Plan provides for the renewal of the university’s information systems through interventions on processes, technologies, and applications. The plan is organized into six areas: organization and change management, digital services, platforms, data and artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure, and cybersecurity. For each area, objectives and projects are defined in connection with the main areas of intervention: education and students, research, third mission, organization and resources. The evaluation provides an estimate of the economic, social, and environmental impact of the digital transformation one, five, and ten years after implementation, in terms of freed capacity, risk reduction, and enabling effects, and reports the progress of the initiatives as of July 31, 2026.
