A memorandum of understanding was signed today at the FCSP’s headquarters between the Ministry of University and Research, represented by Minister Sen. Prof. Anna Maria Bernini, and Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo, represented by its Chair Prof. Marco Gilli.

The agreement aims to foster strategic partnerships with Africa, promoting knowledge diplomacy and recognising the essential role of philanthropy in driving high-impact solutions. In line with the priorities outlined in the Mattei Plan, key areas of focus include maternal and child health, the agroecological transition, and technology transfer.

The Italian pavilion is promoting the theme of “Art Regenerates Life”. Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo is supporting the Piedmont Region on this strategic occasion to strengthen international relations and promote culture, development and innovation.
