A workshop for designers and architects, artists and photographers by Fondazione per l'Architettura/Torino.
Una montagna di Sguardi is a design workshop on landscape and architecture to elaborate and disclose new visions to inspire a contemporary image of the mountain, capable of bringing out its inner identity and potential for innovation.
The workshop is from 10th to 14th May and is divided in two working groups.
In Pragelato the theme will be setting out a system of design strategies for the redevelopment and renovation of one of the most critical areas among those considered by Pragelato Natural Terrain: the Olympic Ski Jumping Stadium. Participants will be asked to develop a series of design proposals on various scales which can further enhance the structures on the site and at the same time integrate them in the context of Pragelato.
At Venaus the issue is reviewing the intervention methodology in alpine environments through a contemporary albeit respectful, sensitive and sustainable. approach. Participants will be led by internationally renowned tutors who work in mountain areas.
The deadline for entries is 31st March, those interested will have to specify which work group they apply to.
The project is supported by the Turin and the Alps Programme of Compagnia di San Paolo.
