Marco Gilli was elected as Chair and Rosanna Ventrella Grimaldi as Vice-Chair.

I am very pleased with the work done over the past few months”, says Rosanna Ventrella. “I have contributed and paid constant attention to the processes and values that distinguish this Foundation in the course of setting up the bodies, as required by the Constitution, with the support of the Secretary General’s experience. The Governance with which we will be working from today is an excellent team, with the right cross-sectional skills to respond to the challenges of the society in which we live. As Vice-Chair, I will continue with the work I started four years ago, benefiting now from the new experience that has greatly enriched me and which I will use to support the activities of this Foundation.”

Following the verification of fulfilment by the new directors of the honourability and professionalism requirements, the new governance structure of the Turin-based Foundation was established for the four-year period 2024-2027.

“It is a great honour for me to have been appointed today as Chair of a Foundation like Compagnia di San Poalo, a nationally recognised institution with a centuries-old history”, declares Chair Marco Gilli. “I am taking up this great challenge with enthusiasm and confidence in the knowledge that I am supported by a multidisciplinary team of the highest calibre, in terms of both governance and structure. I am fully aware of the responsibility that this role entails and I am committed from today to ensuring stability and continuity in pursuing the Foundation’s mission, with particular attention to the End-of-Mandate Document approved by the previous General Council, which establishes the centrality of people and the promotion of the common good as the primary values, in a context of innovation and  sustainability. Also in continuity with the past, I am convinced that, taking the best international practice as an example, future programming must increasingly be based on making the best use of data, analysing and managing it in such a way to make evidence-based decisions. I am sure that the skills of the Management Committee, the General Council, the Board of Statutory Auditors and the Company’s staff, led with professionalism by the General Secretary, will allow us to become an increasingly active agent of sustainable development in the territories we cover.”
