Supported by Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo, the garden serves as a new therapeutic space, offering patients and their families a serene environment surrounded by nature, promoting well-being during the advanced stages of illness.

A sensory garden has been inaugurated at the “Alfredo Cornaglia” hospice, managed by Fondazione FARO. Designed as a therapeutic space surrounded by nature, the garden provides a dedicated environment for patients and their families, created to foster serenity and well-being during challenging times.

The inaugural ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Carignano Giorgio Albertino along with Giuseppe Cravetto – Chair of Fondazione FARO – and Marzia Sica, People Goal manager of Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo, who stated:

Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo has been strongly supporting the activities of Fondazione FARO for a long time.  As evidence of this close synergy, we are delighted to attend the inauguration of the therapeutic sensory garden at the Carignano hospice, which aims to provide individuals in the advanced stages of illness with the highest quality of life in a natural environment that offers well-being and serenity.

This sensory garden exemplifies Fondazione FARO’s holistic approach to addressing the needs of both patients and their families.

The ongoing support from Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo for Fondazione FARO is part of a broader commitment to prioritise people, equipping those in need of care with the tools to ensure freedom of choice and enhance their quality of life.
