The Integrated Policy for Quality, Environment, Occupational Health & Safety (the “Policy”) of the Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo (FCSP) encapsulates the core values that underpin all of the Foundation’s work.
The Policy, which is aligned with FCSP’s Constitution and Code of Ethics, as well as with the strategic framework outlined in FCSP’s Multi-Year Planning Documents, provides the guiding framework for FCSP to set its objectives regarding Quality, Environment, Occupational Health & Safety.

It includes, among other commitments, the following:

– complying with all legal requirements, conformity obligations, and any other applicable requirements related to Quality, Environment, Health, Occupational Health & Safety;
– pursuing continuous improvement of its Integrated Management System (the “IMS” or the “System”) and enhance FCSP’s performance over time in the areas of Quality, Environment, Occupational Health & Safety;
– giving proper consideration to the needs and expectations of beneficiaries and project partners of FCSP, and generally all its stakeholders;
– protecting the environment and minimize the environmental impact of its activities, with a specific focus on climate change issues;
– identifying and managing potential hazards to the health and safety of FCSP’s workers, reducing or, where possible, eliminating the risk of injuries or occupational illnesses.

FCSP implements appropriate methodologies for monitoring, measuring, analyzing, and improving its processes, especially those relevant to Quality, Environment, Occupational Health & Safety, aimed at assessing the effectiveness of the IMS and the organization’s ability to achieve its System’s objectives.

In accordance with the Policy, the Foundation achieved the ISO 9001: 2015 certification for Quality in 2022, followed by the ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certifications for Environmental Management and Occupational Health and Safety respectively in 2025.
