Moncalieri Castle reopens

The presentation press conference is on 10th November.

On 11th November 2017 thanks to the support of Compagnia di San Paolo, the whole museum itinerary in Moncalieri Castle (Piazza Baden Baden 4 - Moncalieri Turin) officially reopens with the Apartments of Princesses Maria Letizia and Maria Clotilde of Savoy, the Royal Chapel and the Apartment of King Vittorio Emanuele II.

The castle was closed for nine years after fire in 2008 struck the southwestern tower and the Apartment of King Vittorio Emanuele II,

Today the public can stroll through the multitude of ornate halls as well as those for private use in what was once the home of dukes, princesses, kings and queens. The spaces devastated by the fire are now evoked by the ingenious restoration.

The press conference for the reopening of Moncalieri Castle is November 10th at 11 am in the Queen's Hall.

Professor Walter Barberis, member of the General Council and President of the Culture Committee is taking part on behalf of Compagnia di San Paolo,
