With the Building Capacity to Attract Mission, as part of the Culture Goal, the Foundation is committed to enhancing the cultural and creative identities of the Piedmontese capital, making it more attractive and dynamic for the people who inhabit the city every day and tourists alike. Following the path set by the Impact Innovation Department together with the Finance Department, the Foundation is also supporting the international start-up ecosystem, helping to apply the results of research on the path from laboratory to market, supported by accurate data science.
In keeping with the 2030 Agenda’s Sustainable Development Goals, Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo therefore aims to help increase the attractiveness of the local area through culture, creativity and innovation, supporting projects and models in which the cultural offer is identified with the local area and becomes a cornerstone for its development. As part of the great challenge represented by the Cultural Goal, the Creating Attractiveness mission works to promote the ability of the local area to attract people and skills, through culture and creativity, with a view to identifying the cultural and creative identities and specific features of the local areas, as well as recognising, positioning and enhancing these elements for the economic, cultural and social development of the areas.
