Goal 8: Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all.

Guaranteeing decent work for all is one of the most important challenges of the United Nations 2030 Agenda. Reducing unemployment is not enough in itself to lift people out of poverty: a sustainable economy and a society capable of offering people the opportunity to find good quality jobs are needed.

This generates a virtuous circle whereby people will be able to lead a more dignified life, with the opportunity to hone their skills and further contribute to creating a more solid social fabric, stimulating a healthy economy.

The predominant contributors to the achievement of SDG (Sustainable Development Goal) 8 are Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo’s Culture Goal, People Goal and Planet Goal.
