The Master in Insurance Innovation  (MII) course at Turin’s Collegio Carlo Alberto is the first training course in Italy dedicated to innovation and to creating the jobs of the future in the insurance sector.

The level II master is the fruit of a partnership of academic excellences (Turin’s School of Management and Economics, the Polytechnic of Turin and Collegio Carlo Alberto, an auxiliary body of Compagnia di San Paolo, founded in collaboration with the University of Turin), institutions (Compagnia di San Paolo) and insurers (Intesa SanpaoloIntesa Sanpaolo Vita and Reale Mutua), and is primarily aimed at recent graduates and young talented professionals from across the country.

The marriage between the worlds of business and academia, thanks to the particular attention paid to the challenges of digitalization and to the real needs of companies in managing technological change, guarantees the distinctiveness of the content, real employment prospects and professional growth in the context of the insurance activities that will be most significantly affected by digital innovation and transformation.

The initiative, which is unprecedented on the Italian educational scene, will bring significant benefits to the city as well as to the young talents involved, the academic and industrial institutions participating in the project, as well as the Italian insurance system as a whole, thanks to a strongly focused approach on the whole future of the insurance business: product and process innovation, artificial intelligence, new working methods, sustainability, collaboration and creation of new business opportunities through start-ups operating in the fintech and insurtech sectors.

The Master’s course is scheduled to beging in September 2020 and scholarships will be available for participants.

Candidates will be able to submit their application online at www.masterinsuranceinnovation.it, attaching a CV and supporting letter. An interview with the selection panel for the master’s course will follow.
