The initiative aims to strengthen Turin’s trade fair and conference sector as a strategic asset of international significance for the economic development of North-western Italy, helping to attract investment, talent and major events while creating new opportunities for the local business community.
The shared vision of the Turin Chamber of Commerce and Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo includes the redevelopment, technological modernisation and expansion of the facilities. These measures are intended to create a platform integrated with the broader urban transformation currently under way in the southern part of Turin.
The project will be carried out through a multi-stage process reflecting its complexity and significance. The key planned stages include defining the scope of the transaction, negotiating with the property owners, the subsequent verification of the agreement’s terms by the State Property Agency, and finally, completing the procedures required for the Chamber of Commerce to approve the investment.
The project remains open to the involvement of additional institutional partners.
