“With the “Reconnect to include” project, which is being run under the Framework Protocol with the Municipality of Genoa, Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo intends to promote digital and inclusive innovation and to create educational models that involve the local area and the educational community in reconnecting skills and potential in a joint effort to ensure the growth and well-being of girls and boys with their schools, local areas and relevant communities, with the aim of including everyone” said Alberto Anfossi, Secretary General of Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo.
There are two parts to the project, both targeted at Genoese schools, namely:
- Digital and inclusive Genoa, which supports schools in promoting innovation, digitisation, and the redesign of educational, teaching and training paths;
- Digital education and social innovation, which supports the professional development of teachers, managers and educators using digital technologies as a lever for change, in addition helping schools make efficient and effective use of the resources made available through the education ministry’s national operational programme or the government’s national recovery and resilience plan.
“Digital and inclusive Genoa”, in particular, reconnects with the funding opportunities available to local authorities under the recovery and resilience plan for education and implements digitisation in schools in order to redesign educational, teaching and training paths from a system perspective which, with the intention of ensuring full inclusion, will boost the growth of children and young people from their early years of life, as well as the involvement of their families.
