An important opportunity to highlight the role that Foundations play in dealing with local issues as part of a constant collaboration with institutions, charitable organisations and citizens.

This year, ACRI has launched the “RisuonaItalia Tante piazze, una sola comunità” initiative, which involves Foundations of banking origin, and has asked them to perform Ludwig van Beethoven’s Ode to Joy simultaneously at 11.00 o’clock. A highly symbolic concert that encourages collaboration and sharing, promoting the principle of solidarity and community spirit.

Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo supports the initiative and is joining in the celebrations with a strong feeling of participation in a very important year.

2020 has been the year in which the Foundation has decided to reorganise and align its structure with the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals, with a desire to contribute to the global commitment and to send a strong message about pursuing sustainability.

In the course of this same year, the pandemic has created a major emergency, highlighting how vulnerable or potentially vulnerable people are particularly exposed to new forms of economic, educational, occupational, housing, cultural and social poverty.

Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo has reacted promptly, taking short and medium term action to identify emerging needs and offer immediate solutions. This has underlined the role it plays in the social, economic and cultural fabric and makes this day even more important now.

The activities planned for the European Day of Foundations can be followed on social media using the hashtags #RisuonaItalia and #EuropeTogether[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row el_class=”video-wrap”][vc_column][vc_video link=”https://youtu.be/Sj5DlK-oBcA” align=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row]
