Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo, Fondazione Cariplo and Fondazione CRT also approved an additional measure, which provides for the disbursement of a further 900,000 euros by the three philanthropic organisations together.

The chair of Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo, Francesco Profumo, described this intervention by saying:

“We feel very close to the people affected by the floods of recent days. We agreed, through Acri, to the proposal to allocate 1.5 million euros to respond to the immediate challenge: the emergency. Emergency intervention, which is by its nature essential and rapid, must now be associated with medium-long term actions. We have therefore approved a further important contribution to system-wide actions and to plan and building the future starting today, working for the common good with people at the centre of our thoughts and plans”.
