Annual Meeting of Doctors with Africa Cuamm 2024

Held at the G. Agnelli Auditorium in the Lingotto Conference Centre, the event will bring together over 2,000 participants, including volunteers, institutions, and supporters such as Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo.

 

The event provides a valuable platform for fostering dialogue between civil society and institutions, with the goal of building a fairer and more dignified future for all. Following previous annual events held in Bologna, Florence, Padua and Milan, this year’s meeting in Turin will shine the spotlight on Africa, a continent which is facing its challenges with courage and taking control of its own destiny.

Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo (FCSP) is a key supporter of the event. We aim to continue fostering conditions that allow all individuals to access care and become active participants in shaping their own futures.”

Doctors with Africa Cuamm operates in 9 African and Sub-Saharan countries, with a particular focus on the health of mothers and children. Through the “Mothers and children first” programme, the outcomes of which will be presented during the event, the organisation aims to reduce maternal and child mortality by ensuring quality healthcare and investing in the training of local health personnel.

The Turin Meeting is a vital opportunity to enhance dialogue and collaborative efforts in support of health and sustainable development. It aims to engage an increasing number of stakeholders and foster a collective commitment to a fairer and more sustainable future.
