Middle schools ‘Enrico Fermi’ and ‘Giovanni Pascoli’ officially open to the public on 12 September after complete renovation.
A year after the kick-off of Torino fa scuola - the project promoted and supported by Fondazione Agnelli and Compagnia di San Paolo, in collaboration with the City of Turin and Fondazione per la Scuola – renovation works have terminated at middle schools ‘Enrico Fermi’ and Giovanni Pascoli.
Students at the two schools can start the academic year on 9 September in buildings that have been completely renovated and re-planned together with the respective school communities and winning architects of the project competition.
On the morning of Thursday 12 September the inauguration will be attended by Chiara Appendino, John Elkann, Francesco Profumo and Fabrizio Manca.
In the afternoon of the same day the schools will be open to interested neighbourhoods and citizens while places last (click here to subscribe www.torinofascuola.it).
