From October to May nine itinerant conferences to take an in-depth look at the various aspects of sustainability.
After a first year spent reflecting on the topic of audience development and on the role of cultural institutions as growth factors of their own communities, Performing+ starts again on 29 October.
Thought up by Compagnia di San Paolo and Piemonte dal Vivo with the collaboration of the Piedmont Cultural Observatory for the growth and enhancement of the skills of live entertainment organisations in Piedmont, Liguria and Valle d'Aosta, the project now shifts its focus on issues related to sustainable development.
What does it mean for a sector that must look at building social value in the long term to adopt socially responsible behaviour with which to contribute to sustainable development?
This is the question we are trying to answer with this second year of 9 itinerant meetings between October 2019 and May 2020: chances to explore the various aspects of sustainability and to investigate the ways in which cultural organizations can be socially responsible and become the engine of a process of change needed to guarantee more sustainable societies, environmentally, socially and economically.
