ACRI assembly- Fondazioni e di Casse di Risparmio Spa (Association of foundations of banking origin) unanimously elected  as Chair Francesco Profumo, Chair of Compagnia di San Paolo.

Rome, 21 May 2019 – Today the ACRI assembly- Fondazioni e di Casse di Risparmio Spa (Association of foundations of banking origin) unanimously elected  as Chair Francesco Profumo, Chair of Compagnia di San Paolo, and  a new 2019-2021 board. Together with territorial foundation associations, the board will appoint members of the executive committee and vice chairman of the association in the upcoming session scheduled for early June.

“I am very proud of the task assigned to me and I thank ACRI for putting its trust in me," said Francesco Profumo, Chair of Compagnia di San Paolo. “ A special thanks to Chairman Giuseppe Guzzetti who, with his shrewd and wise leadership, strengthened and consolidated the Association for 20 years. I know that the framework around  this outstanding development  is both extremely solid and far-sighted and can therefore continue to support the path that awaits us. Looking at the context within our world and the external one - represented by the institutional, social and economic environment of our communities, as well as of national ones- I believe our future efforts must be steered towards three essential directions: the relationship with institutions locally and nationally, strengthening the participation and sharing presidia within our Association and the motion approved at the XXIV National Congress, entitled "Identity and Change". Specific commitments have been outlined that represent continuity and, at the same time  a responsibility for our future development that is entrusted to us. Many planning elements have emerged, but today I would like to recall the areas they belong to: the relationship with the Third sector, the relationship with the Supervisory Authority, common initiatives, and the relationship with associated banks.
