The visual design festival is back from 3 to 6 October at Toolbox (via Agostino da Montefeltro, 2).
Graphic Days, this year on the subject of integration, opens a debate that goes beyond " different ethnic groups living side by side" to how different professional skills can be complementary, regardless of their particular culture.
7 workshops, 8 conferences and 24 live performances are scheduled from 3-6 October, featuring leading figures in the international visual design scene as tutors and speakers.
Among the guests, the London studio Field, specialised in blending art and technology, the German studio Yukiko, which operates in the field of editorial design, digital media and video, the Barcelona studio Folch, famous for creating concepts, brands and storytelling strategies that translate ideas into visual languages, Eye (London), the historic quarterly magazine on visual culture and Dude, the Italian agency that produces impact campaigns such as its latest for Netflix Italia.
Among its international guests, Astrid Stavro of Pentagram London, host of the opening talk on Thursday 3 October, while Olivier Kugler will best represent the theme of integration and its implications. The London-based illustrator and winner of numerous international awards, Kugler will present a selection of illustrations of Syrian refugees from his book Escaping Wars and Waves.
