Call for equipment requested by health centres

Compagnia di San Paolo has set 5th May 2016 as the deadline for applying for contributions to support the purchase of equipment by health centres in Turin and province.

Compagnia di San Paolo has set 5th May 2016 as the deadline for applying for contributions to support the purchase of equipment by health centres in Turin and province.

The call aims to be a functional instrument for better planning, as well as providing more structured evaluation and selection of applications for contribution.

Applications must be made to Compagnia di San Paolo via ROL procedure, accessible from Compagnia’s web page: www.compagniadisanpaolo.it.

For more information please visit the section Contributi - scadenza unica . Please note that in filling in the part ‘scheda iniziativa’ (initiative section) on page 2 you must put “Sanità” (Health) as area of interest and “Innovazione tecnologica” (Technical innovation) as branch. Once the initiative section is closed, as usual the system will propose a specific in-depth section.

The current financial restrictions that also involve the health area require all actors to make an extra effort in correctly using resources. A requisite for applications to be processed is to check that applicants have examined whether it is possible to share existing equipment in their health area or better organisation of workloads of the same.

All applications must attach indications regarding: the spread of clinical conditions in relation to which more advanced standards recommend the use of specific technology, consistency with the request of regional planning, the impact of the purchase on the health organisation and the relative management model used, sustainability over time and the predicted saturation rate.

When the call closes all applications considered acceptable will be judged according to how compatible they are with regional health planning and in terms of Health Technology Assessment.

The results of the call will be made public by December 2016.
