Compagnia confirms its support for projects and initiatives that contribute to greater inclusion and autonomy of people with migration backgrounds at local, national and European levels, stimulating the argumentative and evidence-based debate on the topic and raising public awareness. This is the approach surrounding a new initiative to be developed in 2019, dedicated to inclusion and promoted within EPIM, a network of European foundations involved in experimentation, research and debate on the issue of migration, in which Compagnia has been actively participating for several years. MOI project represents a significant operational implementation of these lines.
Relating to the International Affairs Programme, with a view to the ever greater integration of activities in the field of international cooperation and migration, a new system initiative in Africa is being launched in collaboration with other Italian foundations. It aims to support rural development projects, oriented towards agroecology and employment and entrepreneurship opportunities especially for young people, as for the Jafowa project (Joint action for farmers organisations in Western Africa).
The Innovation for Development initiative, promoted by Compagnia in collaboration with Fondazione Cariplo and Fondazione CRT, continues to bring the world of innovation (technological and otherwise) closer to that of international cooperation.
Compagnia's commitment to the CUAMM project continues, regarding educational and material problems of the nutrition of mothers and their children in 7 African countries (Tanzania, Uganda, Angola, Mozambique, Sierra Leone, Ethiopia, South Sudan).
