In 2018, the agreements signed with the University and the Politecnico of Turin, the University of Eastern Piedmont and Federico II University of Naples expired.
New talks thus began to renew the agreements for 2019-2021, added to which will be a collaboration agreement with the University of Genoa. After analysing context data from VQR 2011-2014 and performances in Horizon 2020 by universities, shared reflections began on the instruments needed to meet current needs in view of the future challenges, above all the Ninth European Framework Programme. The main goal of all the agreements is to choose actions that can affect enabling factors of multiplicative effects on resources.
Thus, the contribution of Compagnia di San Paolo will no longer go to supporting individual projects but to developing new and improved processes within partner universities
