The Compagnia has always paid attention to evolutions and new trends in the cultural scene, and has now decided to renew its commitment to this by setting up a new operational department as a go-between for groundbreaking projects and active subjects in the cultural field. This innovation has various viewpoints and layers: originality in expression and language used, a theme of new approaches regarding the relationship between culture and society, special attention to the economic and productive side of culture. The four main branches of the Department’s activity are the consequence of this way of looking at cultural innovation.
Through the Cultural Innovation operational department Compagnia di San Paolo intends to:
• Encourage contemporary production, supporting research and creativity, its knowledge and spread, and its promotion and enhancement. .
• Promote new forms of participation in culture to expand and diversify its demand, encourage the inclusion of those who are now excluded, and contribute to the definition of cultural welfare.
• Promote more efficient and sustainable organisational models and management processes, foster the development of an ecosystem of creative and cultural enterprises in the area, ensure paths for the development of competences and professional skills in the cultural field.
• Promote opportunities connected with the digital sphere and new technologies in the various stages of creation, production, spreading, enhancement and management in the cultural field.
On December 5th in Turin an international public meeting on Audience Development and Audience Engagement.
