Compagnia considers cultural heritage to be the backbone of every territory’s wealth, an essential element that can give rise to development policies capable of positively affecting the communities’ quality of life.
Recognising its essential identity-making function and relational value, the cultural heritage is seen as a supply of tangible and intangible resources that can improve the present and help build the future, a memory and knowledge bank acting as generator of meaning, contents and stimuli.
An articulated, integrated vision is the basis of the instruments adopted by Compagnia to intervene in this area, setting off a continuous evolution in the logic and methods of enhancement, sharing and maintenance of cultural resources, made up of different kinds of goods, activities and functions, from museums to the performing arts, from cultural places to the great attractors of the territory.
The dialogue with the relevant local cultural institutions, which differ in nature, size and activities, the attention to diversified projects for specific objectives, themes and effects has led the Compagnia to structure the department work in fields of interest and according to calls, areas and intervention focuses, intersected with each other to converge towards the best possible impact and least waste of Compagnia's resources.
From December 4th to 9th the museum offers a full programme of activities to celebrate its tenth anniversary.
On Sunday 2 December at 11.30am in via delle Orfane 15 the church and co-housing project are being inaugurated.
