Running for <strong>eighteen months<\/strong>, the festival kicks off a collective journey fuelled by <strong>art<\/strong>, <strong>community involvement<\/strong> and <strong>experimentation<\/strong>, with contemporary forms of expression and wide-reaching initiatives guiding the revival of one of Turin\u2019s most iconic landmarks.<\/p>\n<p>The Cavallerizza Reale is in fact at the heart of an ambitious regeneration project promoted by <strong>Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo<\/strong> in association with the <strong>City of Turin<\/strong>, the <strong>University of Turin<\/strong>, <strong>Fondazione Collegio Einaudi<\/strong>, <strong>Conservatorio Statale G. Verdi<\/strong>, <strong>Accademia Albertina di Belle Arti<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Cassa<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Depositi<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>e Prestiti<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Fondazione<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>1563<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>SECAP<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>S.p.A.<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Fantino Costruzioni<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Politecnica<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Building<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>for Humans<\/strong>\u00a0and the<strong> Cino Zucchi Architetti<\/strong> firm of architects.<\/p>\n<p>A multidisciplinary alliance intended to <strong>return a site of deep symbolic significance to the city<\/strong>, transforming it into an <strong>open<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>sustainable <\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>creative space<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>At the heart of this effort is <strong>a shared commitment to transparency<\/strong>, allowing the public to experience the transformation of the Cavallerizza Reale as it unfolds.<\/p>\n<p>This is the spirit behind <strong>Crossroads<\/strong>, which marks the tangible beginning of a new chapter, turning the Cavallerizza Reale into a true <strong>creative worksite<\/strong> with a rich programme of events designed to transform its spaces into hubs for art, community and new urban visions to come together.<\/p>\n<p>The Festival launches on <strong>23 July<\/strong> with a curated artistic intervention by <strong>C2C Festival<\/strong>. This first event will take the form of a <strong>site-specific sound experience<\/strong> designed in <strong>close connection with the venue itself<\/strong>, such that it could never be replicated elsewhere without losing its meaning and impact. Leading the performance will be<strong> Kelman Duran<\/strong>, who will use sound to interpret and reflect the ongoing transformation of the Cavallerizza Reale.<\/p>\n<p>Adding depth to the opening performance will be two artists from Turin\u2019s vibrant creative scene:\u00a0composer and sound artist <strong>Sara Berts<\/strong>, and visual artist, writer and musician <strong>Francesco Cavaliere<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Crossroads<\/strong> is a <strong>continuous festival<\/strong>, a sprawling journey through <strong>visual art<\/strong>, <strong>music<\/strong> and c<strong>ontemporary creative languages<\/strong>. Promoted by <strong>C2C Festival<\/strong>, <strong>Graphic Days\u00ae<\/strong> and <strong>Paratissima<\/strong>, with support from <strong>Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo<\/strong>, the project will feature twenty artists, spanning established figures and emerging talent alike.<\/p>\n<p>Through <strong>residencies<\/strong>, <strong>performances<\/strong> and <strong>public involvement<\/strong>, Crossroads seeks <strong>to spark both physical and cultural transformation<\/strong>, turning spaces into places of encounter, dialogue and creative exchange across disciplines and communities. The festival will weave together <strong>music, visual design and photography<\/strong> to craft new narratives and fresh connections with the spaces they inhabit.<\/p>\n<p>While <strong>rooted in the Cavallerizza Reale complex<\/strong>, Crossroads will <strong>gradually branch out across the city<\/strong>, creating new cultural focal points and reaching diverse audiences.
