Cultural demand and participation<\/h3>\n

We extend cultural demand and participation and promote the\u00a0diversification<\/strong>\u00a0of the social base, by lobbying for increased access<\/strong>\u00a0to cultural experiences and incentivising\u00a0community welfare<\/strong>\u00a0involving interaction between\u00a0culture<\/strong>, health and well-being<\/strong>\u00a0with a specific emphasis on people\u00a0over 65<\/strong>.

Partecipation and democracy<\/h3>\n

We foster\u00a0active\u00a0participation<\/strong>\u00a0as one of the key elements of democracy<\/strong>. This means extending political literacy, encouraging more people to want to find out what is going on in the world <\/strong>and to know how to do so, expanding\u00a0public engagement with science<\/strong>\u00a0and with every aspect of active citizenship in general, including by supporting and collaborating with\u00a0Polo del \u2018900<\/a><\/strong> and Biennale Democrazia<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row full_width=”stretch_row_content_no_spaces” equal_height=”yes” el_class=”txt-img txt-sx row”][vc_column width=”5\/12″ offset=”vc_col-sm-offset-1 vc_col-xs-offset-1 vc_col-xs-10″][vc_column_text css=”” el_class=”txt-img”]\n

We have developed projects aimed at young people, such as\u00a0EUOVOTER<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0to encourage under-25s to vote in European Elections and the\u00a0Guidelines for supporting schools of politics 2024<\/a><\/strong>, to promote the road-testing of new models of political education.<\/p>\n

Cultural and congregation centres and neighbourhood social housing developments<\/h3>\n

To boost participation across the catchment area, we take action to improve the infrastructure and sustainability of cultural and congregation centres<\/strong>, in line with the principle of\u00a0geographical rebalancing<\/strong>\u00a0between urban areas, hinterlands, mountainous areas and neighbourhoods, aimed at local regeneration involving multiple, conscious uses of\u00a0public space<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row full_width=”stretch_row_content_no_spaces” equal_height=”yes” el_class=”txt-img txt-sx row”][vc_column width=”5\/12″ offset=”vc_col-sm-offset-1 vc_col-xs-offset-1 vc_col-xs-10″][vc_column_text css=”” el_class=”txt-img”]\n

Partecipation requires collective spaces. The SparkZ<\/a> <\/strong>call for proposals is specifically designed to get young people involved and turn them into catalysts of civic participation and engagement on issues, needs and opportunities of their own choosing. In terms of data analysis, we conducted the \u201cValutazione del Servizio Civile Universale\u201d<\/a> (evaluation of universal civil service)<\/strong>, a biennial survey\u00a0aimed at studying the impact\u00a0of this experience on civic participation and future job opportunities. Studies and data on participation and non-participation<\/h3>\n

To understand the reasons for the distress felt by people who remain excluded from participation processes, we first need to strengthen (or in some cases set up and commission) tools such as databases, surveys, mapping and research.<\/p>\n

In terms of data analysis, we conducted the \u201cValutazione del Servizio Civile Universale\u201d (evaluation of universal civil service), a biennial survey\u00a0aimed at studying the impact\u00a0of this experience on civic participation and future job opportunities. To reduce the geographical divide faced by young people living in alpine areas, we have launched \u00a0APICE: per l\u2019imprenditorialit\u00e0 giovanile delle aree alpine (youth entrepreneurship in mountainous areas)\u00a0with the Planet Goal\u2019s Boosting Innovation Mission and \u00a0in collaboration with\u00a0Entreprendre Piemonte. Co-design We offer\u00a0specialist skills\u00a0for the conception, implementation and evaluation of co-design, within a\u00a0regulatory framework\u00a0which, although incomplete, is nonetheless capable of spawning \u00a0collaborative processes\u00a0between policy-makers, third-sector bodies and active citizens. Studies and data on participation and non-participation To understand the reasons for the distress felt by people who remain excluded from participation processes, we first need to strengthen (or in some cases set up and commission) tools such as databases, surveys, mapping and research.
