The aim of the Pan European Fellowships is to support capacity building for the benefit of young researchers, in order to boost collaboration between the ECFR, one of FCSP\u2019s strategic partners, and some the bodies it works with at local and national level. The programme is intended for young researchers and experts in various fields, including: \u2022 research&amp;advocacy; \u2022 network-building; \u2022 events management; \u2022 strategic communication; \u2022 European policy with a focus on foreign and security policy. Each Fellowship has a duration of 4 months and is divided into 2 phases: 1. A period of 8 weeks at one of the European offices of the ECFR (London, Paris, Berlin or Rome); 2. A period of 8 weeks in Turin, at one of FCSP\u2019s partner institutions. Throughout the programme, under the supervision of ECFR experts and the host institution in Turin, fellows will conduct a research project falling within the scope of the ECFR\u2019s priority subject areas, which include the Middle East and North Africa, Turkey, the Western Balkans, migration, cyber security and European foreign policy on security and defence. The selected candidates will be operationally involved in the activities of the NATO Defence College Foundation (NDCF), with headquarters in Rome. These activities, which are of a scientific and organisational nature, will enable them to work in an international environment and deal with issues relating to global security from the point of view of the Atlantic Alliance. The scholarships are reserved for deserving, low-means students born between 1 July 2003 and 31 August 2006, enrolled in a level II secondary school in Piedmont or the Genoa metropolitan area.
