Goal 1: End all forms of poverty in the world

This is the first of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and not by accident because it concerns the different forms of poverty that afflict many millions of people around the world.

Poverty, in fact, does not only mean a lack of money, it translates into various aspects that can compromise quality of life: hunger, malnutrition, limited access to essential services such as education and health, discrimination and social exclusion.

The way to address this challenge is inclusive economic growth which promotes the dignity of people and equality.

Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo’s People Goal primarily contributes to achieving Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 1.
