The Philanthropy Europe Association has developed two online portals designed to coordinate action for the people of Ukraine.
In order to ensure an effective response to the devastating situation unfolding in Ukraine, Philea (Philanthropy Europe Association), of which Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo is a member, has developed two online portals to coordinate commitments, initiatives and appeals for donations from the European philanthropic sector and the community of non-profit organizations in Ukraine and neighbouring countries.
These simple tools, made available by Philea together with partners in the philanthropic sector, allow initiatives to be uploaded directly to the two portals without the need for translation, with the ultimate aim of connecting philanthropic organisations with civil society organisations so that targeted support can be provided to millions of people suffering from the aftermath of the invasion of Ukraine.
The two sites are associated with specific types of projects.
The portal dedicated to the activities of philanthropic organisations is structured in such a way as to share updates on the resources mobilised in support of Ukraine; share and understand initiatives and commitments put in place; raise awareness of and respond to the needs of non-profit organisations and civil society organisations.
The portal dedicated to the coordinated projects of international non-profit organisations, on the other hand, provides a chance to explore third-sector opportunities and communicate the need for support by civil society.
