A valuable event where Civil Society Organisations and Italian and African innovators will have an opportunity to discuss their innovative projects.
Scheduled for the coming 24th November, the Coopen Summit – Voices of Africa innovation 2022 will provide a unique live streamed opportunity for 11 Civil Society Organisations and 10 Italian and African innovators to discuss innovative projects developed in two areas connected with two Sustainable Development Goals set by the UN’s 2030 Agenda: Zero hunger, SDG 2, and Responsible consumption and production, SDG 12.
The initiatives presented are the result of synergistic activities carried out thanks to the Call for Innovators – Circular Economy, Sustainable Food and Agriculture and two participation pathways of the Coopen initiative, which is part of the Innovation for Development programme promoted by Fondazione Compagnia San Paolo and Fondazione Cariplo, managed by Cariplo Factory, with the contribution of JengaLab, Centro Tiresia of the Polytechnic of Milan and Effecinque.
During the event, national and European speakers operating mainly at institutional level and in the world of international cooperation will discuss the issues of sustainable food and agriculture and the circular economy, while the Civil Society Organisations will have the opportunity to present innovation projects they have developed.
The international event will also be an opportunity to discuss the fields and opportunities that remain unexplored and to participate in networking sessions to investigate future synergies and best practices.
