FCSP’s assets are managed in accordance with principles of diversification and long-term stability of investment yields, by means of strategic asset allocation.

The allocation of FCSP’s asset investments is controlled by the Finance Department, with the aim of increasing the value of the assets and generating income. The strategic allocation takes account of stable investments and applies to a diversified portfolio of liquid and alternative investments.

Portfolio risk is controlled by diversifying investments by sector, geographical area and issuer, and by assessing the cash requirements of FCSP’s activities, which are met by the revenues generated from asset management.
The Finance Department manages mission-related and social-impact investment instruments, while also assessing forms of intervention based on blended finance, in conjunction with the Impact Innovation Department.
