Regulations governing institutional activities
1. According to the provisions of article 19 of the Articles of Association, the Consiglio Generale may appoint one or more Scientific Committees formed by experts chosen from among distinguished personalities of recognised value in the main sectors, defining with suitable internal rules, in agreement with the Board of Auditors, the duration of the appointment, the operating criteria and the relevant fees. Such Scientific Committees, characterised by an international composition, may assist the Consiglio in its analysis and planning for entire sectors, and may be involved in the Consiglio's sessions given over to study seminars.
2.The Management Committee may appoint, for specific needs, Technical Evaluation Committees composed by persons who have expert knowledge, determining, in agreement with the Board of Auditors, their duties, the operating criteria and the relevant fees. Such Technical Committees assist the Management Committee especially in the definition and evaluation of the programmes mentioned in article 4, sub-section 1.
3. The Chairman, in agreement with the Board of Auditors for the definition of their fees, may appoint experts, whose function is to assist the offices by giving opinions on the selection, definition, management and evaluation of projects or other forms of Compagnia intervention.
