A new Centre for Human Genetics Research opens in Torino
Torino, 14th December 2010 – The new premises of the HuGeF- Human Genetics Foundation officially open today.
The Foundation, made up of the Compagnia di San Paolo, the University and Polytechnic of Torino, makes use of both universities’ knowledge and the Compagnia’s funding, which devolved a total of Euro 20 million to set it up.
HuGeF promotes basic scientific research and advanced training in all subjects to do with human genetics, genomics and post-genomics, integrating different knowledge and involving internationally selected talents to boost local competence.
