The Compagnia for the tots of Moncalieri

The “Piccolo Principe” childcare centre, set up with the contribution of the foundation as part of the “Childcare centres in Piedmont” call for proposals, was inaugurated on Saturday 10th September 2011 in Moncalieri.
Whole families and many children of “childcare” age, certainly many more than this 64-place modern and light structure can accommodate, attended the event. “Energetically self-sufficient and fully compliant with latest safety standards” underlined Roberto Meo, the Mayor of Moncalieri, with satisfaction as he symbolically cut the ribbon, even though the centre had already been open for a week with a number of children. “With public funding ever more scarce,” continued the Mayor, “we would never have done it without the contribution of the Compagnia di San Paolo”. Giuliana Rana, the director of the centre also thanked the Compagnia. Vice Chair, Sister Giuliana Galli, stressed the importance of actions like these, which “give resources back “ to the community through the value of useful and lasting works.
