The foundation will be helping the victims of the earthquake. The announcement was made by Sergio Chiamparino during the press conference to present the Summer School programme in Torino, reminding those present that the Compagnia di San Paolo had donated € 100,000 for the tsunami in 2004 and roughly a million for Aquila out of the 5.6 million total donated by ACRI (Italian Association of Foundations & Savings Banks) towards rebuilding the university.
